Adams was a crew member onboard the SDF-3 who was loyal to Edwards. When Wolfe had returned to Tirol, he was part of Edwards plan to arrange things so Wolfe would escape back to Praxis so the Plenipotentiary Council would brand him a renegade and that the guards would be preoccupied so the corridors would be clear for Tesla would assassinate the Clone Regent. With his plan achieved, the threat of war with the Regent would be used to keep the council on Edwards side and would approve the construction off the fleet that Edwards planned to use to conquer the Earth (Robotech II: The Sentinels: Escape from Tirol).
After the rebellion of Edwards and his awakening of the Inorganics, he went to get Minmei to bring with him on the Jutland and Adams readied things in her cell for him. After Edwards went in, Rebecca Nicks and Lynn Kyle took down Edwards men guarding the cell and Kyle beat up Edwards but Adams kills Rebecca with a blade annd took Minmei at knifepoint. Edwards screamed to kill her but Kyle saved her with an attack on Adams who lay limp on the floor (Robotech II: The Sentinels: Requiem for Justice).
