Alphonso Napeoleon Russo, also known as Farnham, was a long-serving politician. He was present at Macross Island for the launch of the SDF-1 and insisted to Captain Henry Gloval that the ship take off.
After the First Robotech War, he came into contact with T.R. Edwards. His ideas about uniting humanity against a common threat were discussed by the secret cabal.
Over a decade later, at the time of the Second Robotech War, he was an underling to Lazlo Zand, and blackmailed President Wyatt Moran and severely dealt with a traitor in the organization. Russo escaped when Zand was transmogrified into a Flower of Life.
By the end of the Third Robotech War and the end of the Haydon affair, he was stuck in a custodial home for barely functional war veterans.
