Valkyries fly towards the Andes Mountains
The Andes Mountains was the longest continental mountain range on Earth, forming a continuous highland along the western edge of South America.
In August of 2018, Skull Squadron went to recover a plane caught by Malcontents near the Andes Mountains. On the way there, they encountered a few Stingers which they took down while Skull 2 was downed but not killed. They had the Wolf Pack handle clean up and went on to the Malcontent Camp. After cautiously approaching, removing the Tarp from the plane and announcing his arrival, Max Sterling found 1 of those on the plane freaking out. He called in Fowler who found the captured woman Ramirez in shock and crying. Max told him to keep an eye on her and went on to beat out Captain Blake who came at him with a knife. Fowler found the last crew member who was murdered by Zentraedi and left for the vultures and they regrouped and found several Stingers that seemed unusual as they were valuable and not rigged with any explosives. Jonathan Wolffe called in about rounding up 3 Zentraedi Pilots but they were female and The Shroud was an all Male group. As Max and Jonathan attempted to interrogate the Pilots, the Stingers activated and attacked, while spraying a Centaur tank belonging to Kimball with a compound. The Stingers attacked the place Max, Jonathan and the Zentraedi were in while 1 Zentraedi said Kaba Brek, which Max recognized as "Honorable Death" A Zentraedi Ritual Suicide and hit the deck with Jonathan to evade the blast which ended the Zentraedi captives. Later at night, Kimball began to feel the effect of the compound and strangled Delaney dead (Robotech II: The Sentinels: The Malcontent Uprisings: The Scavengers).
