Annie was a free-spirited, talkative orphan who joined Scott Bernard's resistance group during the Third Robotech War. She was nicknamed Mint due to her affection for Peppermint Candy.
They then met Rand, Rook Bartley, Lunk, Scott and Lance Belmont, forming the core of the Robotech Rebels. During the next year, they traveled to Reflex Point and fought the Invid along the way. They also found Ariel.
During the third Earth Reclamation mission, the rebels were instrumental in convincing the Regess to depart.
In the ten years after the end of the conflict, she married McGruder. At some point she also wrote down her adventures in Talking History.
