Armor-2 was a Armor-class carrier. In 2009, Armor-2 and Armor-10 intercepted a Zentraedi scout group that was headed for Earth. Both ships were then engaged by Breetai's Flagship and Armor-2 was completely destroyed. (Robotech: The Macross Saga: "Boobytrap")

In Robotech: The Roleplaying Game: Ghost Ship, although the ship was destroyed in the first episode of the series, the book says it was one of only two carriers to survive the Rain of Death.
