Summary[]

While his superiors discuss their next move against the human's, Khyron launches a devastating assault against the SDF-1, even managing to board the vessel. The attack occurs during one of Lynn Minmei's concerts and despite the danger around her she continues to sing offering a small ray of hope to the beleaguered citizens of Macross.

Synopsis[]

Dolza, Breetai, and Exedore plan their next battle strategy, unaware that the seeds of defeat are being sown from within. Bron, Rico, and Konda have decided that they prefer the Micronian way of life, and they have convinced several of their fellow soldiers to defect with them. Meanwhile, Khyron is up to his old tricks. With the commanders in the conference, he can strike without having to advise his superiors of his plans.

Khyron begins his new assault while most of Macross City is gathered to hear Lynn Minmei in concert. Despite the destruction around her, the young girl continues to sing, hoping to distract the crowd from impending disaster.

Bron, Rico, and Konda shrink down to micronian size, and attempt to reinfiltrate the SDF-1 through one of the battle vehicles.

The Zentradi attack in force, with the plan to draw away the veritech fighters and trick the Captain into using the Daedalus Maneuver to attack one of the flag ships. Upon doing so, the Destroids were ambushed and the Cyclops vehicles invaded the SDF-1 through the aircraft carrier. Upon recalling the Veritech fighters, additional enemies were able to sneak into the battlefortress.

Two cyclops reach the concert hall, stopping momentarily upon seeing Minmei sing. Despite the pause, a shot hits a light above Minmei, causing Kyle to be injured but otherwise safe.
