Burak was a Perytonian Invid slave who was part of the group that rebelled and became the Sentinels.
After they allied with the Robotech Expeditionary Force, the Sentinels started liberating the Invid worlds. Burak lobbied to make Peryton a priority to cure it from its curse, and was corrupted by Tesla. Eventually the Sentinels made it to the embattled world, and Tesla and Burak joined together to become the needed sacrifice.
