The ship which Scott Bernard was a member of before crashing on Earth was a Horizon-T class vehicle manned by a Captain whom Bernard was under the command of. He gave specific instructions on what to do upon failure of the mission or death of the rest of the crew, which became useful after he and most of the 21st Mars Division were wiped out upon re-entry, with his ship being destroyed by Invid. (New Generation: "The Invid Invasion")

He was voiced by Mike Reynolds, the actor behind Dolza, Harry Penn and other characters.
It has been noted that his rank tends to fluctuate in the different dubs of Robotech with some referring to him as "General" while others call him "Commander".
