Chun'Da was a Scientist from Rel'nar during the years before the First Robotech War.
After Breetai was shot down and awoke tied to the ground, The implant allowed him to understand the natives language and he met Chun'Da who he communicated with. Upon learning he was a prisoner of their leader Tal'Yo, he attempted to break free of his bondage but Chun'Da advised him not to so as to avoid injury and asked if he knew of the monsters that plagued them. 1 native thought there was a connection to the Invid and Breetai and Breetai found his Battlepod was being studied by natives. There were in a military base near the capital city of Mar'Peth and the leader thought Breetai might be the monsters creator. One of the monsters approached and Breetai revealed it might be a creation of The Invid and as they shared a common foe, he could fight it for them, Chun'Da released Breetai who did well against the creature but lost upon being shot by an Invid Shocktrooperand carried away by it and another. After wandering in the tunnels, by the base of Tokalyan, Breetai was rescued by the Mar'Peth Home Guard who were sent by First Scientist Chun'Da. (Robotech: Warriors: The Terror Maker)
A Satellite made by both Breetai and the people of Rel'nar was made and used to summon the Zentraedi ships. In Mar'Peth, Chun'Da informed Breetai of another enemy approaching and Breetai went out to battle it. (Robotech: Warriors: When Titans Clash)
