The Crusader-class dropship was a Robotech Expeditionary Force carrier constructed at Space Station Liberty. The dropships were used to ferry troops from orbit onto a planetary surface. Two were attached to the outer hull of the rebuilt SDF-3 and were used in a rescue mission at Optera.
