Dalmeric Khane was a male Tirolian and a member of the Robotech Masters. He travelled with his kin to the planet Earth in order to retrieve the Protoculture Matrix in the Second Robotech War. Khane had a strict belief in survival of the fittest with only the strong deserving to survive and the weak eliminated. Thus, he respected strong warriors and despised the weak.
However, ultimately, the Masters were killed by Zor Prime who destroyed the Tirolian Mothership that served as their flagship but instead of destroying the Protoculture Matrix - it caused the Flower of Life to bloom from it. With its spores spread across the planet, the war ended but hostilities between the Masters forces and the ruined Human military continued. Among these Tirolian factions were those led by Master Khane who raided and destroyed various settlements whilst he scavenged for Protoculture. This was part of a grand plan to strengthen his forces in preparation for the coming Invid threat, as his scientists determined that the Invid would likely base their new form on that of the Tirolians when they arrived.
Among his operations included the assault on Site-626 where he massacred the defenders before engaging the troops of the 15th Alpha Tactical Armored Corps under Dana Sterling. His Bioroid forces made quick work of the defending Human forces who had to retreat though Sterling herself remained in order to save a Human child. This caused her to engage with Master Khane in combat and he became puzzled at her restrained behavior until he realized she was fighting to protect the girl. Thus, he eliminated the child which caused Sterling to enter into a rage but she was defeated and captured by Master Khane's forces. He prevented her from being terminated as he questioned her and later learnt to his amazement that she was part Zentraedi. As such, he took her back to his base and resumed her genetic Zentraedi programming to serve as one of his warriors.
Ultimately, Dana managed to overcome the programming by her strong feelings of rage and eliminated Dalmeric Khane in battle.
