The Destroid Tomahawk (official designation MBR-04-Mk VI), also known as the Excalibur, was a Destroid fielded by the United Earth forces during the First Robotech War.
History[]
The Tomahawk was designed as part of Project Excalibur under the leadership of Anatole Leonard, with the first prototypes fielded in 2006. They were created to fight the Zentraedi after the SDF-1 crashed on Earth. (Robotech: From the Stars 5)
Drone units were used as part of training for RDF pilots. (Robotech: Battlecry)

Tomahawks surround two Malcontent Zentraedi during the era of reconstruction. (Macross Saga: Robotech Masters)
Many were part of the SDF-1's saga during the First Robotech War, ("Blitzkrieg") and continued to fight Malcontents during the Reconstruction era. (Robotech: Battlecry, Macross Saga: Robotech Masters)
According to one timeline in the Protoverse, Rick Hunter voluntarily piloted one during the Daedalus Maneuver. (Robotech 4)
Massive payload[]

The Destroid Tomahawk was built from the start to carry a massive amount of ordinance for defensive purposes. Because of the large amount of weapons, it was not very fast or mobile.
To reduce costs, its legs were shared with other Destroid designs. ([Infopedia)
