This is what I think the layout of episode articles should be. The top should be the episode sidebar and a short intro just saying the name, ep. no and the "saga" it is part of. Next a short summary (if people have dust jackets from videos etc the blurb at the back would be perfect for that section). A detailed synopsis would be next and in that would go screenshots from the episode, probably 2 - 4 depending on the length of the synopsis (shorter it is less images, longer more images). Following that would be memorable quotes from the episode. Next is "Background information", this is where trivia, notes, goofs, etc would go. Next would be the cast of the episode. Finally would be the reference section to lists connections from the episode (characters, places, vehicles). The bottom would be capped by the simple nav template.
I think that is a pretty comprehensive layout for an episode template, but I'd be interested to hear what others think about it. Should the sections be rearranged, some dropped, others added. – JayLR 13:33, June 12, 2010 (UTC)
- I think we should just add a section called "homevideo releases" where info on releases as well as sleeves would go. Other than that, I would say that Phantasm is the best example of an episode's page. OS25 (talk to me, baby.) 16:48, October 6, 2012 (UTC)
