"Frostbite" is the 79th episode of Robotech, part of the Robotech: The New Generation saga.
Summary[]
Discovering an abandoned city beneath the snow, high in the Rocky Mountains, the team is elated with a chance to unwind in this piece of Earth's history. But Corg soon shatters that elation with a decisive attack!
Synopsis[]
High in the Rocky Mountains and fleeing from the Invid, the freedom fighters discover a subterranean city enclosed within the ice. While Lunk and Lancer overhaul the mecha, the rest of the group goes about searching for food and supplies, becoming carried away in exploring the abandoned city. Even Scott eventually gives in and accompanies Marlene through the deserted halls, growing closer with her as she begins to understand what the Earth has lost since the Invid conquered it.
Just then, Invid under the command of Prince Corg attack. Fighting their way back to their mecha, they blast out of the city, and Lunk activates a series of explosives meant to keep the city buried, hopefully killing Corg and the Invid in the process.
