"Genesis Climber MOSPEADA" is the second pilot episode of what would eventually become Robotech, made out of the first episode of the original Genesis Climber MOSPEADA. At the time, it was not thought that the series and its paralleled project, Space Fortress Macross, would be connected in any way.
The product is essentially a straight dub, featuring many pieces of dialogue which were either cut or heavily edited for the final version of the show. It also features a completely different cast from the final version, and used the original Japanese names, dates, music, and even title screens. The episode is apparently not finished, with projection flashes following the final scene and the credits having no music or titles.
The pilot has been released on the Robotech DVD The Robotech Archives Disc 2 on the Robotech: The Complete Set box set includes it as the first feature.
