Hypercomp was a sentient computer system on the The Moon in the 2030s.

In 2039, after the Third Robotech War a group of Robotech Masters -Tarrow, Lyra, and Sylak - found refuge with a surviving Zentraedi enclave in the Indochina Quadrant, where a group of Invid returnees setup a network of hives to harvest Protoculture. Survivors from the Earth Reclamation Force had also setup a hidden base in the area.
After issues in the Thailand Genesis Pit and with a Precision Engineering Drone, LT Arnold Wells' search team fell under attack. However, his forces were 400 miles away. They eventually found the officer and two survivors then reconned the Masters base. They discovered the Masters' plan to leave Earth and meetup with the Super Factory. After arriving back at the Overwatch base, they made plans to intercept the Super Factory themselves and were sent to Moon Base Copernicus where they are briefed and outfitted by Professor Retarf. They discovered it was powered by the sentient computer Hypercomp.
It was suggested the Factory survived the mission, with Hypercomp possibly space folding away to review its interactions with the Humans and Masters. (Robotech: The Roleplaying Game Book Six: The Return of the Masters)
