The Inorganics attack. (Robotech: Prelude to the Shadow Chronicles)
The Inorganics were a type of robotic mecha utilized by the forces of the Invid Regent. They saw extensive use during the conflict against the Robotech Masters, where they participated in the conquest of Tirol. These machines would later be used in the battle against the Sentinels and their allies the Robotech Expeditionary Force. Inorganics lacked any free will of their own and were strictly controlled remotely by an Invid Brain.

Behind the Scenes[]
In Robotech Art 3, the Inorganics are stated to be the only true "robot" created by the Invid to serve as killing machines. The Invid utilized them for policing and occupational duties of their conquered worlds. The hull of an Inorganic is stated to be a hollow shell.
The Quiltamma is an inorganic appearing in the Robotech: Invid War series.
