The Invid Occupation of Earth was a severe, 13 years long event forced upon Earth following the invasion in 2031 and forming the basis of the Third Robotech War. The Army of the Southern Cross was quickly defeated, leaving the Regess and her army in charge of Earth, enslaving many on Protoculture farms. There were scattered resistance units, and several Earth Reclamation Force attempts at liberating the planet, until the Robotech Rebels convinced the Regess to depart in 2044.
History[]
The Invid were both brutal and standoffish. Conditions in the camps were often brutal, but many cities were left alone as long as they did not resist. Many were collaborators. ("The New Generation") The resistance forces were underequipped, often creating their own Frankenmecha. ("TNG Sourcebook") It lasted from 2031 until the close of the war in 2044. ("The New Generation") The Invid also did not consider Moon-based forces to be a threat, keeping patrols to low Earth orbit. ("The Shadow Chronicles")
