Lena was a Scientist in the RDF who was aboard the SDF-1. She was the creator of the Cerberus, an experimental Fighter. In 2010 Lt. Rick Hunter asked Lena to take it to search for his missing trainee, Hiro Amano. They found Khyron's hidden battleship, but were shot down by a Battlepod and crashed aboard it. Onboard, they ultimately uncovered its purpose. Whilst inside, they sabotaged the coolant system and caused the weapon to overload thus destroying it.
