According to one source, Leo Epstein was a pilot in Pop Hunter's Flying Circus. In 1999, he could be seen flying a biplane in the circus. He was fairly close to Pop Hunter, who congratulated him on one occasion on a good show. (Robotech: The Graphic Novel)
