The Tactical Battlepod was the standard Zentraedi infantry mecha, as well as the most common. With its multiple thrusters, the Regult can also function as a space fighter, a task to which it was often assigned.

The Medium Missile Battlepod, or Light Artillery Battelpod (also known as Gluuhaug-Regult), was a variant carrying 24 medium range missiles, most often fired with a direct line of sight rather than indirect with assist from a spotter. The mecha was a quite common variant, with one or more showing up in nearly every tactical Battlepod team.
