Limax was an Invid who lived during his peoples war against the Robotech Masters.
By the time of the conquest of Tirol, he was Commander of the garrison on Garuda and resided within the Hive due to the planet's toxic atmosphere. The Garudan homeworld was an orchard garden used to harvest the Flower of Life which was the life blood of the Invid race. As such, it was seen as an important world within the Regent's empire. After the liberation of Karbarra, the Sentinels moved to free the Garudan homeworld though their mission saw Rick Hunter, Lisa Hunter, Karen Penn, Rem and Kami captured.
Kami was sent to work in the labor camp whilst the Humans along with the Tirolian were interrogated by being exposed to the toxic atmosphere. Afterwards, Limax was present to inspect the dreams of the unconscious captives. The reason for the Invid's interest in the Humans was because of their use of Protoculture weapons. Due to this, they believed that either Humans had contact with the Robotech Masters or lived on a world where the Flower of Life grew. However, Limax did not learn anything from the Humans but was shocked to see that the Tiresian Rem had memories of a pre-defoliated Optera as well as the primitive Invid.
The commander being ecstatic as he believed he had found Zor and decided to present this prize to the Regent.
