Lynn Kyle was Minmei's cousin and agent. Also during and after the first Robotech War, he was an activist against the war and violence. After the First Robotech War, their relationship crumbled, and she suffered emotional and physical abuse. He later disappeared, leading him to join the REF as a pilot, taking the fake name Lincoln Isle, ID REF # 666-60-937.
Later he then attempted to save his cousin Lynn Minmei from General T.R Edwards, escaping in an Alpha Fighter, but he was killed by General Edwards in the process and failed to save Lynn Minmei.
