The M-30 Modular Energy Weapon System was a handheld energy weapon built for the Robotech Expeditionary Force. It was adopted by Jonathan Wolfe, leading to its nickname of the "Wolf" nickname. It came with several attachments to turn it into a carbine.
The sidearm was eventually replaced in general use by the Gallant H-90 Multi-Weapon System.
