MAC III Early animation

Early animation animatics more clearly show the Destroid in Robotech: Love Live Alive.

The M.A.C. II was created for Robotech II: The Sentinels and was based off of the Macross Saga Monster Destroid, which at the time was known as the "M.A.C. II" in merchandising. Due to the show being killed prematurely, it never saw a broadcast appearance, the first episode scripted to show it being episode four, "Second Thoughts." However, a M.A.C. II does have a cameo in Robotech: Love Live Alive, in the background of a shot with Dana Sterling. Though it is somewhat blurry, animatics clearly show the M.A.C. II blasting at the Invid threat. Though listed as the MAC III in the Robotech RPG 1st Edition, Robotech Art 3 and subsequent animation materials clearly list it as the MAC II. This was cleared up when the official designation of the HWR-02 was classified as the Monster.
