Madalyne "Maddie" Hyser was a Private in the Army of the Southern Cross' Jungle Squad. On the eve of the Second Robotech War, she was assigned to a base in Africa with "The Misfits". The night of her arrival, the Robotech Masters arrived. Their waste disposal destroyed the base's transmitter.
