Miriya Parina Sterling was a female Zentraedi who served as an ace pilot within the Imperial Zentraedi Forces before defecting to the Robotech Defense Force after marrying Max Sterling. During her time as an ace Zentraedi pilot, she became involved in an encounter with strange aliens. The Sterlings were key players in the Malcontent Uprisings, and later the Robotech Expeditionary Force. Sterling gave birth to Dana and Aurora.
