North America was a Supra-National Union comprised of Canada, the United States and Mexico. It was one of the countries that Scott Bernard visited.

Second Robotech War[]
North America was the center of the Second Robotech War, mostly due to the remnants of the SDF-1 as the Flower of Life was located beneath the Legendary Fortress' graveyard.
Third Robotech War[]
Reflex Point, Located in North America, was the principal objective of the Earth Reclamation Force during the Third Robotech War.
Scott Bernard, the only known survivor of the 21st Mars Division, and his Resistance group were able to reach North America via a Southern Cross Battleship. There they passed through an abandoned Denver City, New York, and finally a passage to Reflex Point, were they met Sue Graham, a cold-blooded REF reporter on the mission of getting footage of the Invid in action. Due an explosion caused by an Invid missile, she was critically injured and passed away due blood loss after she discovered that the Invid could be transformed into a humanoid beings incredibly similar to humans.
Afterwards, Scott, Lancer, and Lunk finally joined up with the other REF survivors at Reflex Point, prepared to attack the Invid Headquarters.
The The Battle of Reflex Point took the lives of several REF soldiers from both land and space and various Invids including Prince Corg, The Battle ended in the withdrawal of the Invid Regess and the Invid race from Earth, ending the Third Robotech War.
