O'Malley attempts to convince Lynn Minmei to sing for the crew. (Robotech II: The Sentinels: Farewell)
Lieutenant O'Malley was the Chief Moral Officer on-board the SDF-3. He kept many images of singer Lynn Minmei in his office. When some of the crew of the SDF-3 left to join the Sentinels with the Farrago, O'Malley attempted to convince the real Minmei to sing for the ships, but the refused -- saying that she was tired of being other people's wind-up doll. However, she did do the performance in the end without knowing it, as her private lounge singing was transmitted across the ship by a man behind the controls of the room.
