Octavia was one of the muses of the Robotech Masters. Their music was used to keep the clones complacent and obedient. Musica was the mistress of the Cosmic Harp. Octavia, in yellow, played a dulcimer-like instrument and Allegra, in the pink, played a stringed instrument resembling a Cello.
Much her dismay, her sister Musica rebelled against her people's way of life after meeting Bowie Grant and experiencing emotions for the first time. Octavia and Allegra tried to aid their sister, but she later fled with the 15th squad after she betrayed her people and freed the ATAC members. Octavia was mortally wounded when she was shot by one of the clone soldiers loyal to the Robotech Masters, and died in her Musica's arms.

- In the Jack McKinney novels, Karno, the former fiancee of her sister Musica was the one who killed her, because she reminded him of her sister.
- Her name in the original anime series was Muselle (ムゼル Muzeru) and in English as Muzel.
