A Plasma Cannon was a weapon used primarily by Invid Mecha that used blasts of energy to destroy its Targets. According to one source, Plasma Cannons were in use in the years between the Malcontent Uprisings and Second Robotech War (Robotech: MechAngel: Mechangel).
