Point K was an advanced base on Earth. It was a military staging area, that Moon Base ALUCE shuttled supplies and personnel to. The site was chosen by the Earth Reclamation Force as a site for the forces to meet up. In March of 2043, the Invid assaulted and destroyed Point K, nearby towns, and surrounding countryside.
Sometime later, Scott Bernard and his resistance cell arrived. They didn't find any survivor, but managed to recover enough material to fully equip the team with Veritechs and even a VFB-9 Beta.
