This Protoverse was invaded by the Invid in the year 2999 during an attack by the Regess and her forces. This cased a protoculture surge that evolved a Veritech Excavator and evolved it. After dealing with the Excavators, the Invid arrived and the humans on LV-427 were unfamiliar with them. Despite being outnumbered and outgunned , they noticed the Invid were not interested in them and saw them more as an obstacle, yet the humans still opened fire on them(Robotech: 22)
