The REF-Invid Peace Meeting was an interaction between the Robotech Expeditionary Force and the Invid Regent as an attempt to settle their differences. The Regent did not trust the situation and sent a Clone of himself in his place. Edwards noticed the Clone acted different than the Regent but dids not reveal this as to keep the upper hand. The Clone grew infatuated with Lynn Minmei and desired her as part of the deal. Several disgruntled crewmembers hatched a plot to assassinate The Regent at the meeting but were thwarted. Eventually, the Clone was killed by Tesla and threw a wrench into things. The Clone's body was taken away and this caused issues with the Expiditionary Force and the Sentinels (Robotech II: The Sentinels)
