Rebecca Hollister reports on the wedding of Rick Hunter and Lisa Hayes for CNN. (Robotech II: The Sentinels Wedding Special 2: I Do!)
Rebecca Hollister was a news reporter for CNN who was on board the Robotech Factory Satellite in 2022. She did a report on the wedding of Rick Hunter and Lisa Hayes, which focused mainly on singers Janice Em and Lynn Minmei. While calm on screen, she was very bossy to her crew, ordering them to get tie-in footage of the singing-pair. (Robotech II: The Sentinels Wedding Special 1: Wedding Day) Another report done by her focused more clearly on the couple, but mentioned that some thought that the wedding would undermine the Pioneer Expedition to Tirol. For twelve hours before the wedding, T. R. Edwards had promised her a scoop that would overshadow the event. What he planned to give her were images of Rick and Lynn Minmei hugging, which out of context was extremely incriminating. Vince Grant, picking up on his plan, switched them with images of his assistant drunk. When Edwards gave her the images, she laughed, joking that they were exactly what she was looking for.
