The Regent is male Invid who served as a counterpart to the Regess and was ruler of half their race.
He had a hatred for all other races, and fought against the REF when they arrived within the Local Group. although secretly worked with the traitourous T. R. Edwards.
The Regent was ultimately killed outside his Hive on Optera in single combat when Breetai sacrificed himself.
