The VR-011 Rifleman Cyclone was a a frontline mecha unit used by the Robotech Expeditionary Force Marines. It was based off the YVR-010 models. The EU-5 Pulse Beam Rifle was standard carry, and it was equipped with two interchangeable Vambrace Modular Weapon Systems. Unlike later models, the jump jets were built into the wheels, allowing the Rifleman to jump high or land safely from sub-orbital heights.
It was the most-produced Cyclone model, as it was faster and cheaper to construct, until the conflict with the Regent ended and the introduction of the VR-052 Battler Veritech Cyclone.
