Robert Hyser was a member of the RDF in the mid 00s
Biography[]
As of March of 2005 he had the rank of Sergeant and served as an MP. He took charge of Rick Hunter when the latter landed on Macross Island, and dropped him off at HQ, saying he was a good judge of character. (Robotech: Return To Macross: Sorry I Missed You")
In May of 2005 he had been following Lisa Hayes a she showed Roy a photo of him. Roy said it could be Robert Hyser who he knew 2-3 years prior in the RDF. Claudia asked why he was following her and seen near a Nationalist attack in April but Roy said he heard he was shipped out in March. During a meeting with Amanda Devane, Barrows, Grinolds Gloval, Dr. Lang, Tom Bennington Roy, Lisa, Claudia Grant and Rolf Emerson told of sightings of a man Roy said was Sergeant Robert Hyser who he knew from years ago when Hyser came to investigate vandalism of a prototype and works for RDF Airpad Security. Barrows claimed there are no files on him but Roy disagreed. Global called for cooler heads as Amanda said there's more to this than it seems as its not a one off incident. After the meeting, Roy went after Claudia but she left him behind and Hyser encountered Rou outside the building the meeting was in. Roy attacked Hyser but Hyser easily avoided the blows and counter attacked while saying Roy had to trust him on this as it was nothing personal (Robotech: Academy Blues 4: The Calm Before...: The Calm Before...).
In July of 2005 during a rainstorm, he meets Grinolds as Hyser said how people like Gloval, Devane, Roy, Tom and Lang are good soldiers who deserve better as Grinolds called them too soft and how the Council was planning to launch the Achilles. Grinolds asked if Hyser got what he needed from Tolbert and was told Tolbert was part of McBains Group and dropped names but Hyser didn't reveal them and walked off (Robotech: Return To Macross: Storm Warnings).
On the day of the concert, during the storm Roy looked at the Glittering Star through binoculars and Hyser revealed he's working the the UEG Council and spying on other UEG Agencies. Admiral Nicholas Hayes sent him to follow Lisa and after the Federalist Attack on the SDF-1 he did unauthorized digging he found the wreckage of the Federalist Machine used in the attack was made by companies owned by a man who contributed to the Nova Roma and owned the Glittering Star. Also 1 rogue agent had connections to The Sons Of The Constitution and another was Brittish and 2 men involved in the attack on the SDF-1 were part of the RDF Security Detail scheduled to rotate to the Mobile Launch Assembly and might be planning to sabotage the Achilles to make the UEG look bad to the public. Costanza arriving at the same month as the launch and the Gloval had gone to Europe to meet Wendel and Roy knew not of it. Roy revealed he was barred from the boat after a complaint is filled and Robert reveals he got Virgil's name from the Federalist he beat up. Roy sneaked in with a Tranq Dart Gun that didn't penetrate the raincoats of the guards and fought them and was thrown overboard but was saved by Hyser. (Robotech: Return To Macross: Storm Surge).
