Robotech: Book and Recording is a two-part series where episodes of Robotech were adapted into picture books with a follow-along tape. It was published in 1985 by Peter Pan Industries, and written by Arther Korb and Jim Lawrence. It was penciled by Comico Comics, another Robotech licensee, and colored by John McKinzie. The recording uses actual series music and dialogue from the episodes.

The book for "Boobytrap" confuses Exedore's and Breetai, notating Breetai as being short and Exedore as being a massive giant with one eye. Additionally, Lynn Minmei is spelled Min-Mei.
