"Salvation Run" is the 2nd issue of the Robotech: Invid War.
Plot summary[]
The Invid have arrived on Earth and set up their occupation.
Meanwhile, Jonathan Wolfe has become the de facto leader of Vahalla. They are contacted by Legioss 3, a messenger from Moon Base ALUCE, but she is shot down and lands in Defoliators territory.
When Wolfe goes out, he and his scavenger partners are captured by the Defoliators, but rescued by the pilot, Bekka Cade. Wolfe also finds out that his wife and child were captured by the Invid.
Behind the scenes[]
The intro sees the destruction of the Robotech Factory Satellite, which was later referenced in Before the Invid Storm.
In the rebooted core continuity, it survived until the start of the Fourth Robotech War.
