"Leap in the Dark" is the 8th issue of the Robotech: Invid War.
Plot summary[]
At ALUCE-II, the forces are making final preparation for their assault on Invid-held Earth. Captain Nobutu makes amends with Dangao.
After disabling an Invid patrol, the base makes final preparations.
The 300-strong assault force then launches for Earth. When a column of Invid mecha approach, Remes and Dangao Scolinth sacrifice themselves for the sake of the convoy.
