"Destroid 1: Day of Achilles" is the first issue of Robotech: Macross Missions published by Academy Comics. William Jang handled the art and story.
Plot summary[]
As the SDF-1 approaches Earth, it was attacked by the Zentraedi as a group of Destroid pilots were enjoying a drink. Several of the pilots were killed, and Lt. Hillary dressed-down Ken Sato for freezing up. They were then assigned to Sigma-29 team, but all but Sato are killed in another attack.
