Robotech: Return to Macross 12: Less Than Victory is the twelfth issue of Robotech: Return To Macross, released in 1993.
Plot summary[]
Breetai overpowers the Combat Simulator with his willpower and Khyron plans to use a Photon Grenade to eliminate the evidence. He shoots Nereg and leaves them to die but Nereg uses an Emergency Decompression to blast Breetai into space before the Grenade goes off. Breetai is retrieved but has no clue on what really happened. In Alaska the Lemurians are being slaughtered by the United Earth Government's Destroids and Roy escapes the ship in a Dominator 6000. The Lemuria attempts to flee but is taken out by Subs they couldn't detect thanks to electronic countermeasures. Roy fights the Veritech taken by the Lemurians and destroys it then "surrenders" to the UEG. When talking to Edwards later he accuses him of playing both sides by being paid by Moira to get her the Veritech then getting them back for the UEG but without proof, Edwards can't be charged. Edwards then leaves, with an admonishment to Fokker not to press his luck.
