"Robotech: Return to Macross 1: Shadow of Zor" is the first issue of Robotech: Return To Macross, released in 1993.
Plot summary[]
On a distant planet, Zor sends the SDF-1 off to keep it from the Masters and Invid but dies when the Invid attack and leaves them stranded. After it reaches Earth, the people spend years studying it, but a group known as the Faithful being lead by Dr. Wilbur raises warnings against the craft. Roy Fokker returns to Macross Island at the behest of Henry Gloval but is caught in a fight at a Faithful speech by Dr. Wilbur. The brawl and gathering is broken up by the Global Military Police in a Destroid.
