Plot summary[]

In a televised commercial, Nina Lang contemplates how the SDF-1 is like a ticking bomb and how she has to do something about it. Roy and Lang talk about how Nina and Faithful are making Anti-Robotechnology ads that air worldwide. To counter this, Land wants a Public Debate with her about the dubject. Later, Anatole Leonard and Jessie discuss what to do about Faithful and DaSilva arrives for a meeting with Leonard over his services and the upcoming Destroid Test by the RDF. At the test, there is a protest and some armed GMP on hand. A Destroid Phalanx, codenamed Spartan One, comes out and fires Missiles at Drones but Leonard sets off an explosion and the protesters rush the gates in the chaos and egg the Spartan. The GMP orders them to disperse or they will be gassed but Roy sees a man taking photos of the Spartan and fights him for the camera. The gas grenades go off and Roy as well as others are knocked out and by the next day, the Cameraman has been lost track of. Roy talks with Gloval over it and halfway around the world, a man hears the news and decides to return to Macross Island.
