The 24th issue of Robotech (2017 comic series) was published in September 11 2019. The comic wrapped up the first "season" of the comic's story, ending the Robotech: Event Horizon storyline and transitioning into the run known as Robotech: Remix. At this stage, the comic series has fully separated itself from the timeline of the original run, both ending the First Robotech War with a more positive note and stopping the Third Robotech War from ever taking place. The comic also followed up on the series' tendency to playfully acknowledge other continuities, featuring a finale where numerous characters from other Robotech canons, specifically Suzy Kramer and Captain Nobel from the Robotech 3000 pilot and several characters from the primary Robotech series and Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles film.
The comic ends with the Regiss being defeated, sent into a far off universe somewhere else, and Minmei also disappearing, presumed dead (although an error shows her with the team just a few pages later).
