Summary[]

Sera awakened to find herself in a circle drawn by Hohsq which neutralized her powers. He revealed he sent the visions of Corg to lure her from Belmont so he could make his move against Scott. Rook arrived on horseback to bring Sera, Rand and Lancer back but upon looking inside Sera's tent, Lancer found a note from her saying she left for her dreams. In Castle Fate Sera found the circle drawn by Hohsq prevented her from using her Soul Power or leaving and while she was unaware of said power, Hohsq knew of those born of Protoculture had began gaining access to a power of the beyond. While Sera was disgruntled with being lied to about her brother, Hohsq revealed he did it as he had lead 3000 to find a new home and 206 had died along the way, only to be denied access to Belmont. Sera felt for Hohsq and his people and Hohsq left her for a time. Sera's disappearance caused Lancer to blame Rook for pushing her too far and they bickered until Lancer agreed to go with her after finding Sera. Nova talks with Scott over how his friends didn't return and Rook told her of his orders. Also she told of how a man from Castle Fate came by with a note declaring war on them and how 3 months ago, 3000 people came with permission from the past leaver Governor Kim, but were turned away and sent to the radioactive wasteland of Fate, much to Scotts horror. Scott met with Heuneinnian who he recognized as Zentraedi and commented he liked them and received the note saying the member of Castle Fate would claim the North Fields but not as an act of aggression, but if Belmont refuses, it would be war. as it took 7000 people 3 years to make that field and Belmont depended on it, they couldn't give it up, but Heuneinnian showed him Sera's Ribbon which shocked him, but Nova told Scott they would not make the deal and Scott agreed that any force would be met with force. Heuneinnian left and talked with Nova over how Belmont had more than enough and how Nova met Hohsq and thought little of him and his forces. Chelly listened in on the meeting and reported it to Lunk and his crew and how Sera might be sacrificed. Seeing as the people loved her, they decide to rescue her. In Castle Fate Sera was given rations which had maggots in it from spoilage. In Belmont over 2000 people rioted to have Scott free Sera but Nova had Lt Commander Galil and the other security open fire on them. Using the events of the riot and the coming attack by Hohsq, Scott enacts Martial Law and a temporary state of emergency that suspended the council charter of 2036. Lancer Rand and Rook approached Castle Fate and saw it was a base from the First Robotech War. Hohsq told Sera that Belmont would not bargain with them and she revealed she figured out the reason behind her kidnapping and visions, but knows he would not kill a helpless foe. Hohsq told her many would die in the coming battle but she would not be among them. The Iron Butterfly readied to move out and Rook told Galil to watch out for Nova if she didn't make it back. Lancer Rand and Rook sneak in to Castle Fate win a pipe and inside find a working Veritech. Sera laments her actions of falling for visions of Corg and did't feel him but could still feel Marlene. Uponb sensding Lancer, she called out to him to leave as Hohsq would kill him.
