Sammie Porter was the youngest member of the SDF-1’s Bridge Crew. Typically, she monitored internal communications and served as Lisa Hayes’s Assistant Operations Officer. Though somewhat naïve, Sammie rose to whatever challenge was dropped in her lap.
While at the Robotech Academy, her father's contracting job was going to end and she almost had to leave the island and the Academy. She also worked at the Flyer Diner under Lory for a time
