Sean Phillips was the First Lieutenant of the ASC's 15th Alpha Tactical Armored Corps, but was busted down to Private based on his indiscretions. Under the command of Dana Sterling, the 15th fought in the major battles of the Second Robotech War.
During the war, he nurtured a romance with Marie Crystal.
