Simon was a man with an Australian accent who lived in the village run by Aaron James. When Lena met with Scott's group he, Gryph and Mick, they tried to intimidate them with Simon going after Lunks Tools. Later, upon returning to their base, Lancer had followed them and snuck in to their main building after hearing Mick talk about Scott's Alpha Fighter. He suggested waiting for the Invid to go down before trying to take out Scott due to their low supplies but Aaron was not willing to let Scott ruin his plans again annd could use Scotts groups mechs to conquer more turf. When Mick disagreed he earned a punch from his leader who threatened to demote him to do field work and Aaron intimidated Gryph and Simon. When Lancer fell through the ceiling, Aaron sent Gryph and Simon after him but were taken out with swift kicks and Aaron was countered with close combat from Lancer. Mick let Lancer go on without a fight and cowered before him. Aaron and his minions chased Lancer and despite Simon nicking Lancers arm, missed most of his shots due to Micks rough driving. Aaron came in on his Cyclone and took Lancer down and left him for dead. When the Invid attacked, Aaron faced off against Scotts group and Simon held Rook but she nailed him in the jaw after Scott got to his Alpha in the chaos caused by Lena's breakdown against Aaron. He and Gryph ran off and were not heard from again.
